Empowering Lives: Food for Good

 

As part of Community Chest's 40th anniversary and held in collaboration with Chef Violet Oon, "Empowering Lives: Food for Good" is a fundraising initiative that aims to encourage everyone to be a philanthropist in their own unique way.

Through this initiative, Chef Violet hopes to rally the community and venue partners, restaurants, chefs and associations in her network to contribute their talents and resources for a good cause. This year, this initiative adds to the focus of building sustainable philanthropy by rallying partners, volunteers and the community to make giving a way of living and contribute not only in a holistic but sustainable manner.

"I am very blessed to have been known as a chef and food ambassador over the last 50 years, and I hope that through this fundraising initiative, I can shine the light on others in the F&B community who deserve to be known and celebrated, and also showcase their care for the communities in need!"

In celebration of All Things Delicious’ 10th year anniversary and Community Chest’s 40th year anniversary, All Things Delicious is partnering with Community Chest to hold an anniversary cum fundraising dinner where full proceeds from the ticket sales and funds raised will go to Community Chest. In addition, for a limited period in July, partial proceeds from the sale of selected bakes and drinks, both online and in-store, will be donated to Community Chest.
