Care & Share Movement

The Care & Share Movement rallied people from all walks of life to provide help for the disadvantaged and successfully ended its run on 31 March 2016.

Care & Share was a national fund-raising and volunteerism movement led by Community Chest for the social service sector, in celebration of SG50.

The Movement aimed to bring the nation together to show care and concern for the needy and recognise the contributions made by social service organisations. Eligible donations raised by us and participating social service organisations from 1 December 2013 till 31 March 2016 were matched dollar-for-dollar by the Government. The matched amount has been contributing towards the building of capabilities and capacities of the social service sector, and supporting social services to meet rising needs.
